Welcome to Sarah Flynn Design
— A contemporary, bespoke design brand founded by Award-winning Irish Fashion & Textile Designer Sarah Flynn. Currently based in Barcelona, Sarah combines her love for colour, texture, and innovation to create fresh, timeless designs that inspire comfort, joy, and sustainability.
About Sarah
Sarah’s passion for design and craftsmanship began with her studies in Textile and Surface Design at the National College of Art & Design in Dublin, where she graduated with an International First-Class Honours degree in 2020. Sarah Flynn's award-winning graduate design collection, Colourfully Conscious earned her 1st prize winner of the prestigious IDI Graduate Design Award in Fashion & Textiles, underscoring her commitment to creating beautifully designed, environmentally conscious pieces.

In 2021, Sarah expanded her design expertise, earning a distinction in Business Certification from The Entrepreneurs Academy. Her diverse experience ranges from designing best-selling, multi-product fashion and textile collections for well-known retailers like Dunnes Stores, George at ASDA, Next, LPP, textile design studios to collaborating with luxury Irish start-ups, Java Republic Coffee, international brands and premium tradeshows; Premiere Vision Paris/New York. Whether working with high-street retailers or crafting one-of-a-kind pieces, Sarah brings a refined touch to every design.

The launch of Ethiopia Hambella Coffee their fourth edition of The Origin Project!
My artwork for this project was inspired by Women and the Woven Fabric of Coffee Culture. Women artisans play a major role in the coffee culture of Ethiopia with 70% of women working on the Hambella Garden coffee farms which encompasses 200 hectares located in the Oromia region, Ethiopia. Ethiopian women have strong native craft skills and their devotion has built an essential part of the woven fabric of their coffee culture, daily coffee ceremonies and their society. https://www.javarepublic.com
